Streusel Spice Cake

A Pillsbury Bake-Off Winning Recipe

 1  pkg yellow cake mix
 ¾ cup milk or water
 ½ cup butter or margarine, melted
 4  eggs
 ½ cup flaked coconut
 ½ cup chopped nuts
 1  envelope premelted chocolate, or 1 oz square unsweetened chocolate, melted
Filling
 ½ cup flaked coconut
 ½ cup chopped nuts
 ½ cup packed brown sugar
 2 tbsp flour
 2 tsp cinnamon
Glaze
 1 cup powdered sugar
 1 tbsp butter or margarine, softened
 2 tbsp milk (up to 3 if necessary)
 
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees (or 325 degrees for pan with colored exterior). Grease and flour pan. In large bowl, blend first 4 ingredients until moistened; beat as directed on cake package. Stir in coconut and nuts. Marble chocolate throughout batter. 
 2Pour half of batter (about 2 cups) into pan. In small bowl, combine all Filling ingredients; sprinkle ¾ over batter in pan. Cover with remaining batter; sprinkle with remaining Filling. 
 3Bake 40 – 55 minutes, or until cake tests done. Cool upright in pan, 15 minutes; remove from pan and turn cake so crumb mixture is on top. Cool. 
 4Blend glaze ingredients in small bowl until smooth. Glaze cake.
