From Pillsbury Festive Spring Recipes, 1982

 8 oz cream cheese, softened
 ½ cup sugar
 ½ tsp grated lemon peel
 2 cups whole strawberries
 21 oz can cherry pie filling
 Baked pie crust or graham cracker crust

In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and lemon peel; beat until smooth and well blended. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly in baked pie shell. Lightly press strawberries into cream cheese mixture. Spoon cherries on top. Chill several hours before serving. Garnish with whipped cream, if desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
Yield: 8 servings.
